Overview

The TnrSpeech component is designed for support the Microsoft Speech API. It converts the entered text to speech voice and outputs it into the any WAV device like voice modem or speakers.

You can download a SpeechTAPIDemoExe.zip demo application that shows capabilities of TnrCommTAPI and TnrSpeech.

Microsoft Speech API already included in Windows XP. If you use other Windows versions, you should install Microsoft Speech API v5.1 before.

Restrictions

The SpeechAPI does not implement in the Linux platform therefore TnrSpeech does not include in the nrCommLib for Kylix. But it is present in the CLX version of library for Win32 platform.
